(for my taste) at peak enjoyment for this storage. Anyway this is a pretty classic SMR, though a bit higher quality than their average. My only complaint would be the price but I'm guessing that's just where prices are for teas like this now. Back in the day this was dirt cheap and I wish it was now but that's unrealistic. Prices at PuerhUK are generally lower than average so I'd guess that that's the case for this tea too! Funny that in the case of semi-aged teas, big factory meh-quality teas have comparable prices to high quality material "gushu" like XZH/BYH etc.

ht find in a modern old/ ancient tree production (and remains perfumed long into the session). Beeswax, Frankincense medicinal honey, lemon blossom. Thickly textured, yet with a lifted palate thanks to an acidulous, mouthwatering balance to the tea with an earthy, tertiary-flavoured back palate. Some stickiness to the broth. Low bitterness. Grounding Q1i. Storage really has been ideal. Given the large cake size, I see this as very good value. I want another cake; such a shame it's a sell-out 🙂

ial steeps complex and extremely well balanced with a nice clean semi aged classic Yiwu flavor. Around steep 7 it started to get sweet and continued to do so, with more intensity up to about steep 12. 15 steeps in and it’s still sweet and has more to give up.

ly great drinking experience, definitely recommend to have it on shelf for some "gourmet" and 'taste' drinking. Got one little piece as a gift but now am really considering getting the mushie :).

et going; the early running being a bit underwhelming and showing a fair bit of processing in the pot and on the back palate. After a handful of steeps and with a long brew cycle, the tea steps up with much more intensity, more complexity, more piquant spiced notes and durable sweetness. I’d suggest a really good wash with this tea ahead of getting started with a session.
