Highlights:
- Powerful calming Qi
- Savoury semi-aged taste profile, with good strength
- Excellent price for 1990s sheng puerh with high quality leaves
- Taiwan natural storage: drier version
This is mostly a strong Qi tea at an excellent price, with the added bonus of a quite unique savoury (as opposed to sweet) taste, with good depth, medium aftertaste and complexity.
There are a lot of this “Red mark” cakes, this has the name of “Ji Pin” because the leaves used are much-better-than-average quality and they’ve retained very good strength despite the aging.
~357grams cake, some weight loss over the years with aging.
