Zhuni (Yixing) clay (original ore) aged and held in private reserve, multi-hole filter. Excellent for “first aging” Sheng Puerh (5-20 years dry storage or 5-15 years natural storage), and all types of oolongs (particularly light roasted ones), will brew other light coloured teas very well too. This teapot features HZT’s unique “Mandarin Peel” effect obtained but firing the pot a second time with a second layer of the same clay, giving it its unique surface.
This is a unique teapot fully hand pinched by the master himself. About 6 of these can be made in a month, and 1 or 2 will break in the firing on average. Occasionally, a teapot won’t pass his extremely stringent proportion and harmony standards and will be rejected too.
