Sharing excellence

Highlights:

  • Semi-aged tea taste (similar to aged Yiwu)
  • Tasty, with some strength and comfortable, calming Qi
  • Clean natural Taiwan storage

This a refined tea with some satisfying patience and aged taste at a very affordable price for its quality and age, made by a small taiwanese artisanal producer (Qian Yong).

ManLa (曼臘) is near Yiwu (north of ZhangJiaWan and Mansa) and the tea is made of arbor tree (bigger trees that are neither plantation nor very old trees) and has aged naturally and cleanly in Taiwan.

357grams cake, 1/4 slices available.

After many samples, this one stood out for quality and value. The tea has a wonderful, clean aged profile. The empty cup smells of wildflower honey and caramel. Bitterness and astringency are low and there is still lots of life left in this tea! Very little smokiness and very smooth.

This tea is quite bold with some strength, but it isn’t overpowering and not too much bitterness. More toward sweetness and body. Overall it is a very satisfying calming tea.
Reasonably priced and I recommend it.
