- Recommended for aging (T4+ in 5-10 years)
- Strong aftertaste and aroma
- Powerful calming and centering Qi
One of the flagship productions of BHYJ, a premium boutique producer from Taiwan, the Chawang Yinxiang (“Impressions of Tea King”) is a powerful blend with a high percentage of old tree material
The aftertaste game of this tea is so strong as to point to a tea that will age very well (T4+, maybe more). It already has strong calming Qi.
It’s in the awkward stage (the stage of aging puerh where the tea is neither floral and light like fresh tea nor very thick like old tea) at the moment so it’s very affordable for what it is and what it will become.
Please see aging and storing puerh in the west guide on how to store this tea to take it further.
The first picture of the leaves is before aging, the following pictures are the actual cakes we have here.
