2003 Chen Yuan Hao Yibang Ancient Tree (T4)

A rarer cake from the original CYH 2003 groundbreaking 6-mountains series (Yiwu, Youle, Manzhuan are the 3 most common – Yibang, Gedeng and Mansa less so).

Intense and deep typical Yibang taste and strong calming/comforting Qi, this tea really is unique as most other productions of the time using the Yibang small-leaf varietal blended it with other big-leaf varietal. I’m not aware of any other aged Yibang of this quality existing.

These cakes don’t have a wrapper, they’re packed “naked” in the tong as in pictures (which is usual for early 2000s CYH).
